BOUNTY KILLER & MAVADO TRYING TO EASE TENSION BETWEEN CAMPS

Internationally renowned deejays, Rodney "Bounty Killer" Price & David "Mavado" Brooks are attempting to calm the growing tension between their respective camps following a turbulent few weeks.

Bounty's Alliance crew & Mavado's Gullyside crew have been rumored to be at odds in recent weeks & Bounty admitted last week that there were growing issues between the two camps; intensified by the release of Chase Cross' song, "Mash Up Everything." However, an anonymous Alliance member told Urban Islandz that the "Grung Gaad" & "Gully Gaad" are actively seeking to ease what the member called an "unnecessary" tension within the "Gulliance."

"The whole thing is unnecessary and the younger youths need to understand that Alliance is an organization that build, not destroy," the member said. He continued, "Vado and Killer have a reason about the situation from what I understand, so you won't hear anymore idiot track from within Alliance or Gully, we a still one."

The source also intimated that Bounty Killer & Mavado's friendship goes beyond music; claiming the two are very close friends. "Naturally Killer was angry about the whole thing and contrary to rumors out there Mavado and Bounty Killer a more like brothers, dem friendship no stop yah so. So since the things get out of hand, people from all over the world get involve because Alliance is a respectable organization in dancehall worldwide. People just need fi stop spread some idiot rumors about the thing."

Mavado has yet to publicly comment about said tension within the camp while Chase Cross has received mass criticism from fans of both crews for "Mash Up Everything."
