Bridgez set to drop ‘Crossover’ mixtape
Alliance First Lady (A.F.L) and prominent singjay, Bridgez returns to the spotlight as she’s set to unveil her new mixtape, The Crossover on Tuesday.
The new compilation will feature a combination of some of Bridgez’s most notable hit singles dating back to her mainstream debut in 2005 plus unreleased material that’s sure to garner fan interest.
"I'm very excited about this mixtape. It has most of my songs that I've worked on from the starting of my career until now so it gives people a chance to get to hear my growth as an artist also giving the chance for my newer fans to enjoy some of my older classics,” she said via press release.
Having recently released hit songs such as No Any Man on the Bedroom Riddim (Payday Music Group)and For You on the Priceless Signature Riddim, Bridgez hopes to capture new audiences with The Crossover; mixing genres of Reggae, Dancehall and even hip-hop in order to create a quality compilation.
"There will be new songs on the mixtape; some have not been released yet. A song called "All Dem A Talk" on Aurora Skies Riddim produced by So Unique Records. A brand new collaboration with myself and Big Wayne called "Take Your Time" produced by Good Good Productions ,"For You" on Priceless Signature Riddim produced by Lena British and Jam2 productions and a brand new one drop song with a very prominent rapper from L.A name M1 titled "If Love's A Game" produced by Jester music from BMI's camp. "There are lot more new songs that's too much to mention right now but make sure you cop the mixtape and you'll hear them all!" she said.
Bridgez says that she appreciates the support that her mentor, Bounty Killer and fellow, highly acclaimed artistes have given her to make this release possible and believes this project will help her connect more with the mainstream.
"I definitely have to thank Bounty Killer, Big Wayne, Konshens, Marlon Binns, Calado, Ding Dong, Angel Doolas, QQ, Iyara and more for supporting my mixtape and giving it a great vibe. The mixtape has a lot of songs on it with "Crossover" potential and you done know a BridgeZ mi name so I have to crossover."
The Crossover will be distributed via Riddimstream.com to all media personalities and disc jock on Tuesday and will be available for free download to the public.
