The album plowed into the reggae iTunes charts in Canada hitting number 2 in the top ten reggae albums, and also opened impressively in the United States by hitting number 7.
The album is being pushed by the international success of the artiste's single D'Sunne Schint which reached No 1 on iTunes Swiss reggae song charts and No 1 in the German video charts in September on day of its release date.
Cali P is now in Europe where he is performing at a number of gigs in Sweden and Switzerland.
"He has completed the ski tour across several nations in Europe but the word got around among promoters who were impressed with his onstage performances and so he has landed a number of others gigs in Switzerland and Sweden," beatmaker Anil 'Phantom" Montague, Cali P's business partner, said in a release.
Cali P is known for the chartburners, Like a Lion (Hot Steppa), which hit #1 on video charts, and the popular follow-up, 'No Time' that have done well in the local market, generating a lot of airplay on stations like IRIE FM and HITZ. The single D'Sunne Schiint held the number one position for two days before settling into the top ten on the Swiss reggae song charts.
Cali P completed the original tour schedule on October 1st with a gig in Annecy, France. Cali P has been making major moves on the international reggae market since the release ofhis Like A Lion (Hot Steppa) single which was produced by Phantom, Cali P's partner in the Inspired Music Concepts label. The Like a Lion sngle featured prominently on the soundtrack for a documentary feature film of the same nameabout seven-time ESPN X-Games gold medallist, Tanner Hall. The single also peaked at #3 on the HYPE TV Top 20 charts.
He returns to the island next week.
